On the stage

Colin has regularly presented solo recitals, chamber music performances, and orchestra concerts on the violin. He has performed in masterclasses for notable violinists such as Arnold Steinhardt and Ani Kavafian, and now brings his extensive experience to both the podium and the classroom.

 

Prior to his graduate studies, he received his Bachelor of Music in Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. He now draws on his inclusive education to teach string pedagogy at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. Mr. Oettle also offers both private and group violin lessons to students of all ages.
